FINALLY!! A chili we picky eaters can eat and enjoy! As with all of my recipes, if you do like a little extra, feel free to add fat free beans, chunky tomatoes, etc. Make it your own!
- 2 lb ground 99% lean chicken (or turkey)
- 1 box 2-Alarm chili kit
- 1 – 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 – 8 oz cans water
Brown meat and add to crockpot.
Add seasonings from chili box , except Mesa (I omit the red pepper packet, it’s spicy enough for me, if you like it spicy, add it in. )
Add tomato sauce.
Fill tomato sauce can twice to the top with water.
Set crockpot on low.
1 hour before serving, follow directions to add Mesa, turn crock pot up to high.
Makes approximately 5 servings.
I serve with fat free cheese & crackers (crackers will change the point value)!
