Sloppy Joes (WW Freestyle friendly!)

Think you can no longer enjoy sloppy joes? Think again. These are absolutely yummy and you do not miss the extra fat from ground beef and oily cheese. Simple and easy for a great busy week night meal (with few ingredients!).

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb ground chicken breast (99% fat free or grind your own – 99% FF ground turkey is also acceptable)
  • 1- 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1-1/2 cup water
  • 1 pkg McCormick Sloppy Joe mix

DIRECTIONS: (you can find them on the back of the seasoning package)

  • Brown meat.
  • Add tomato paste & seasoning packet and water
  • Stir until combined
  • Allow to thicken
  • Serve!

The meat mixture is only 2 points!!! I like to serve it on 1 slice (open faced) of Sara Lee Delightful wheat bread and sprinkle with fat free cheddar cheese for a total of 3 points! I serve a side salad along side, however, since it’s so low in points, you could have a full sandwich or even splurge for buns. Enjoy!
