I wasn’t going to post this, but I thought, why not? I do so many chicken recipes, why not post one of my favorite pork chop recipes. So here it is. Easy and quick. Bonus – chicken also tastes good like this! 😉
Boneless pork chops trimmed of all fat – as many as you need
Salt – to taste
Pepper – to taste
Garlic Powder – to taste
Seasoned salt – to taste
In a skillet that is large enough to accomodate all the chops, drizzle a little EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). I do not measure this because very little ends up in my tummy. Turn on heat, about medium. While pan & oil are heating, season both sides of chops. Place in pan. Cook until done. My favorite thing is to make sure both sides are seared well. Color = flavor! Be careful not to overcook them, it’s very easy to do since they are small chops.
Servings: 1 chop per person
Personalize it! The great thing about cooking is you do not have to use the seasonings I used. These are the seasonings we like, if you want to add something different, go for it! Onion powder would be good too. Instead of garlic powder, you could totally do some minced garlic in the pan with the oil. I served a side salad and corn for a total of 5 points! For dinner! YUMMY!
Stay Picky ya’ll!
