Parmesan Chicken Strips (WW Freestyle friendly!)

Air fryers are the BEST thing ever! We use ours almost every day. They are convenient, fast, and don’t dry out your food (as long as you don’t overcook it). Best of all, you can avoid using the regular oven and heating up your entire house! If you are like me and live in the south, that fact is essential! These chicken strips are wonderful when you are craving that “fried” crunch.

Ingredients:

2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (all fat removed)

½ cup Italian bread crumbs

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika – to taste

Pam olive oil spray

Directions:

Combine bread crumbs & Parmesan. Cut chicken breasts into strips. Spray chicken with olive oil, season to taste, roll in crumb/cheese mixture, place in air fryer until finished with all the strips. Spray again (well) with olive oil.

Use air fryer temp that is preset, cook strips for 10 minutes, flip, spray well with Olive Oil, cook another 10 minutes and serve!

Servings: I only did 2 chicken breasts and got 3 servings. 3 strips = 1 serving

Points: 3 (This could be lower if you used less cheese or bread crumbs.)

Personalize it! Use whatever seasoning you like on chicken. Want to save some points? Don’t use the cheese. You could also add more chicken without adding more crumbs and cheese. This will raise the serving size and lower the points.

This would be great in a salad, sandwich, wrap, or for dinner.
