This is awesome! I am a burger person and I despise Turkey burgers. In my opinion, it doesn’t seem to matter what you do to turkey, it still tastes like turkey. When you feel like that, trying to stay healthy and on track can be difficult. We all know too much red meat is not good. So Chicken burger make me smile!
- 1 lb ground chicken breast
- Picky seasoning: McCormick Season salt, Garlic Powder, S&P
- 2% cheese slice (optional)
You will need a cutting board to shape your burgers on or wax paper. The meat is very sticky. If using a cutting board, wet it. I just run mine under the water. Preheat a griddle or non-stick pan while prepping the patties.
Shape 3-4 burger patties. You can make 4 small patties, or go a little bigger and get 3.
Season the patties. There are no measurements here. It’s up to your taste buds. Just sprinkle it over the patties. Using a spatula, pick up the patties once shaped and seasoned, put on griddle or pan. Flipping patty seasoned side down (may need to slightly reshape). Then, season the other side.
Cook on medium heat until done. The patty will be firm once done. Takes approximately 20 mins.
Top with cheese and enjoy!
Points: The only points are what you add to it! Cheese, bread, mayo, etc..
Personalize it! You could add chopped onion to the mixture, Worcestershire sauce, or even try different seasonings! But remember, it is sticky!! So if you add something wet to it, I suggest using the wax paper to shape the patty on. I usually serve on Sara Lee Delightful sandwich bread, because I don’t have access to the Sara Lee Delightful hamburger or hot-dog buns (2 points per bun!) or the Schmidt 647 buns (2 points per bun!). Add your favorite toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles!
Stay Picky ya’ll!
